Violin Lessons with Raisa Asriyants
Raisa Asriyants received her Master’s degree in Violin Performance from the Western Washington University with honors. She has performed in Europe and the USA, taking part in and winning different solo and chamber competitions across both continents.
She has been 1st violin concertmaster in WWU Symphony Orchestra and Northwest Symphony Orchestra. She is active as a soloist and chamber groups’ performer, having had recitals across the Pacific Northwest. She teaches private lessons and group classes, freelances with local orchestras in the Seattle area, plays and records music with a group of folk singers in Seattle and Canada. She also has scored music for full feature films.
Her music interests range from archaic medieval and baroque, to classical, and to contemporary string compositions. As her musical accomplishments are a product of synergy of several different music education systems,
Raisa possesses a unique diverse skill set as a strings educator, which gives her students access to the full array of teaching techniques to realize their music potential.

As a music teacher, I want to help my students achieve their goals as musicians.
Whether you want to perform professionally or play for friends around a campfire, music is always a form of communication. In teaching music, my job is to help you develop your vocabulary, voice, and intention as a musical communicator.
I am happy to offer guidance to music lovers of all ages and skill levels. Successful students will see themselves become braver, broader-minded, and more versatile players.
I am a lifelong musician - from beginning classical violin at age 5 to completing a degree in Music from New York University. In addition to performing regularly as a guitarist, singer, and electronic musician, I produce beats for myself and other artists. I have a particular appetite for Hip-Hop, electronic music, and bold flavors of every stripe.
I teach acoustic and electric guitar in all styles and skill levels, ukulele, beginning violin, beginning piano, and Logic Pro.

We'll use this time to get a feel for the relationship and see if the instructor-student fit is right for you. If it isn't you can ask for another teacher and that first lesson is free also. Your first lesson with each teacher are free until you find one you like.
